RN Delegated Care

DignaCare At Home caregivers are able to person any task being taught to a client’s family or other support system upon home discharge, under the Texas Board of Nursing RN Delegated Task Rules.

Those services include:
  • Tracheostomy care and suctioning
  • Catheter care
  • Gastronomy tube management

  • Injection of medications (e.g. Insulin) for treatment of diabetes

  • Administration of medications via various routes

  • Wound dressing change

  • Non-acute administration of oxygen

  • Dementia Care

  • Reminders for activities of daily living

  • Life enrichment activities geared to those with cognitive disabilities
